With all respect due to Nick DiSalvo, who is incredibly talented, the proggy vocals are not what I love the most with Elder. What I love the most, I'll admit, is the incredible synthy, krauty goodness, from the track Sonntag on the previous album to the wonderful delving LP Hirschbrunnen. These instrumental Sessions were a major step in that direction, I think, and I love them dearly for it. Coraxio

When I listened to Suspended, I was left intrigued, but as soon as I listened to Dark Horse a few days later, I knew I would *love* this. In retrospect it's perhaps a bit less atmospheric than their previous album, but the songs are much more varied and packed with surprises. My favourite song changes basically every other day. Definitely the best discovery I've made so far. I love this band. dan-rod
